Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG)Eligibility is determined by the results of the FAFSA application through federal methodology calculations. FSEOG is a Title IV, need-based grant. Qualifications included demonstrated extreme financial need, Pell Grant qualification, and availability of funds. Early submission of a FAFSA is recommended. Academic Competitiveness Grant (ACG)(First-year students, up to $750; Second-year students, up to $1300 ) What do I need to do to keep my award?Students may receive the ACG for the awarded terms as long as they maintain full-time enrollment and meet all eligibility criteria. All federal grants are contingent upon the results of the FAFSA application. If your FAFSA information changes as a result of verification, your award may change. All students must maintain satisfactory academic progress (SAP) as required by the U.S. Department of Education and according to the college SAP policy for receipt of federal aid. You are no longer eligible for federal grants if you have earned your first bachelor’s degree. |
